The flex model is designed for student-athletes who are committed to excelling both academically and athletically. NCAA-aligned coursework is structured around training and competition schedules, ensuring students can maintain academic progress and continuity throughout the year, including during demanding competitive seasons.
Through a one-to-one approach, each student receives a personalized academic and athletic development plan tailored to their individual strengths, goals, and aspirations. Progress is continuously monitored and measured, allowing students, families, and mentors to track growth and make adjustments that support long-term success.
Students enrolled in the flex model also gain access to the Dragons Elite Athletics ecosystem, a comprehensive development environment led by experienced coaches and mentors. This structured and objective approach focuses not only on athletic performance, but also on character development, leadership, discipline, and life skills. By combining personalized academics with high-level athletic training, the flex model empowers aspiring athletes to reach their full potential both on the field and in the classroom.

Dragons Academy is a fully accredited K–12 private school, and its differential value is the opportunity to benefit from in‑home, on‑campus, and remote learning options. The one‑to‑one instruction across core academic subjects provides an individualized pacing—students move forward when they master material.

The flex model blends self-paced virtual learning with one-to-one instruction from certified teachers, providing student-athletes with the flexibility to balance academics and athletics without compromising educational quality. With fewer in-person attendance requirements, students can train, travel, and compete while staying on track academically and meeting their learning goals.
Our coursework is NCAA‑aligned and structured around training and competition, to guarantee Academic continuity during travel and season intensity. Personalized academic and athletic development plans are also offered, as well as access to the Dragons Elite ecosystem with professional coaching focused on discipline, leadership, and long‑term growth.
